Make your words count

Phil Johnson is a San Francisco trial attorney who specializes in telling the stories of clients who suffered serious injury or the loss of a loved one. After five years working for newspapers and online publications around the country, Phil enrolled in UC Law San Francisco, formerly known as UC Hastings, where he honed his public speaking skills as a member and coach of the school's competitive mock trial team.

Phil believes clear communication flows from clear thought. Stories are most impactful when they are felt through evocative details. Learn how to guide your audience into the muck with you. Invite your reader to feel the mud between their toes while you tell a story about fishing on the riverbank. Craft a compelling essay through tasetful diction and clear imagery.

Whether you need help getting started, editing, spit-balling, or conquering stage freight, Phil is the man for you. Learn to Phil the Page, and find your voice today.
